A grey fox in the tree outside our living room window. Grey foxes are
the only dog relatives that can climb trees, apparently. This was one
of a pair that seemed to be looking for a place to sleep for the day-
its partner bedded down on a nearby branch but this one eventually
left, maybe because we kept taking its picture. This was about the best
of the roughly 45 pictures I took- others were slightly sharper but
less well posed. The original was marred by scattered light (dirty
lens, maybe?), but I was able to clean it up in Corel Photo-Paint (see
these before and after images).
