General Information

Onsite registration and check-in opens on Sunday, Feb 26 at 5pm in the prefunction area (just outside the Mediterranean Ballrooms).

All registrants are invited to the NSRC-2012 Welcome Reception, beginning Sun Feb 26 at 7:30 pm in the prefunction area, and to the Closing Reception on Wed Feb 29 at 3:50pm. Complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

No video/audio recording of the conference is permitted, without previous written approval.

Complimentary wireless access is available in lobby, prefunction area and guest rooms. The username and password will be provided at the NSRC registration table and at the hotel front desk. Please contact the hotel front desk if you have difficulty accessing the hotel wireless internet.

The Crowne Plaza hotel restaurant will offer a hot lunch buffet on Mon Feb 27 and Tue Feb 28. For the lunch keynote on Tuesday, you are welcome to purchase your lunch in the hotel restaurant and bring it to Mediterranean Ballroom III. The lunch keynoter will be XCOR Aerospace CEO, Jeff Greason, 12:30-1:15pm on Tue Feb 28.

All abstracts are posted on the NSRC website at http://nsrc.swri.org. Presentation slides from the conference will not be collected or posted.

If you are a presenter, please bring your presentation on a thumb drive to the A/V tech (in the Ballroom of your session) no later than the day before your talk. This will allow the techs time to run through the slides to ensure everything is displaying properly. If you are presenting on Monday Feb 27, A/V techs will be available in the prefunction area beginning 5pm on Sunday.

The VIP Hospitality Suite is located on the first floor in the Bacchus Room, just down the hall from the prefunction area. Access to the suite is open throughout the conference to all VIPs and VIP Sponsors ($5K level and higher). VIP badges are designated with U.S. flag emblems. VIPs may use the sign-up sheet on the door to reserve the room for private meetings if needed.

All sponsors have access to student registrant resumes online at http://nsrc.swri.org. If you are a sponsor and would like access, please see Diane Miller at the NSRC registration table for the password. If you are a student registrant and would like to post your resume, please send it to con@boulder.swri.edu.

There will be a table in the prefunction area for company flyers. All registrants are welcome to bring a stack of flyers for the table. (Please do not hand out your flyers in the ballrooms.)

Registrants who are guests at the hotel have access to the 24 hour business center near the front lobby. If you are NOT a guest at the hotel and need something printed, please see Diane Miller at the NSRC registration table in the prefunction area.

All NSRC guests will receive free hotel parking (guest room confirmation notices provided by the hotel list a parking fee of $10/day – this is incorrect). Please make sure there are NO parking charges on your bill at check-out.
